Max Venable- Hitting

Athletic Edge's newest addition to the team of Professional caliber instructors, has played over 10 years professional baseball including 2 season’s in Japan. He has also coached at the professional level and brings with him a passion for baseball that is unrivaled, a wide array of knowledge, including the most state of the art teaching techniques, and great communication skills to get your child excited about the game of baseball.

Dan Leslie - Hitting/Pitching

As a former associate scout for the Florida Marlins and one of the current directors of Camp for A Cure, a baseball camp which donates its proceeds to cancer research, Dan brings with him extensive knowledge and passion for baseball. He has also coached at Sonoma State University and has the skills needed to excite the young players in baseball. With a focus on pitching he uses innovative techniques to ensure that your child is getting quality instruction.

Kyle Altomare - Hitting/Catching

As a former collegiate catcher and current coach for Athletic Edge, Kyle brings with him an outstanding knowledge and passion of the game of baseball. His passion shows in his work as he brings excitement to the kids he teaches. Kyle has also been extremely active in Athletic Edge’s baseball camps over the past three years, and has worked with the Boys and Girls Club of America to provide quality instruction to the youth in Petaluma.
